    Up for sale is an antique Collin’s & Co. Hartford CT No. 945 Thatcher Sugar Cane Machete with steel hook blade and wooden handle- full tang. This item shows overall wear including scratches, discoloration, surface rust, unevenness to the blade, tape on handle, and other signs of age.  This item measures approximately 5” x 1” x 18.25” at its largest dimensions. These were made for the military to use in jungles and other places where the foliage needed clearing. A really interesting military machete.
