Beautiful hand crafted and hand hammered silver plate compote basket with handle. Every element of the Arts and crafts period in wonderful form. Raised marking on bottom DSP which represents Derby. The bowl measures 9 1/2” by 8” and 4 1/2” high not including the handle. Decorative metal applied pieces applied around the bowl and the base. Artfully styled border around bowl and base. Handle is applied beautifully to the bowl as shown in photo. There is some slight pitting in the bottom of the bowl. There are a few very small spots of wear on the plate. Overall the silver plate shines brightly as it should and is in good condition. It’s a wonderful example of period Arts and Crafts. Thanks
