CAPS & COIN - #1147
OK Kids, so you've added Muncie-RX as one of your favorite sellers, and you keep coming back to see what's different.... so now it is your time to bid on our next desirable collectible combination! .......
These superb Limited Edition Corvette caps match the 1953 Vette and the 2003 Vette paint/interior schemes. There were 1,953 produced of the white and red Corvette cap (1 of 1953 up to 1953 of 1953) and 2,003 produced (1 of 2003 up to 2003 of 2003) of the cranberry and black Corvette Hat (see pictures). Each is individually numbered and embroidered on the left side with that number. The front of the caps are embroidered and the right side features a bronzed 50th Anniversary logo.
These collector caps are made of brushed cotton twill, and the bill features the 50th logo embossed in a leather-like material. The back strap is adjustable with a metal slide buckle. The 1953 cap includes the 50th logo embroidered on the back, and the 2003 cap includes 50th Anniversary script on the back. One size fits all.
Then the Coin! This beautiful silver clad coin is 1 1/2" in diameter; one ounce in weight and double struck to insure the beauty of this magnificent
un-circulated
coin. The 50th Logo is enhanced with FIVE enamel colors! The reverse side depicts images of the 1953 and 2003 Corvette. Each Coin is individually SERIAL NUMBERED (get the picture?) and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. To insure mint condition, each coin is encased in an airtight capsule. The 50th Corvette Coin comes in a beautiful embossed four color collector tin.
So here is the legal stuff. The caps were commissioned by Summit Marketing (thru The Corvette 50th Store) for the
Nashville
50th Anniversary Celebration. They are brand new, never worn, and officially licensed (B10120) by GM...all trademark tags and placards are still in place.  These are the only "OFFICIAL LIMITED EDITION NUMBERED HATS" produced and are not available anywhere except on the secondary market. The original cap distribution system was never intended to supply specific numbers or "matched pair" type marketing.
The 50th Anniversary Coin was proudly produced by WKRW Visual Arts. It is truly spectacular. Again, as the hats, the Coins were Commissioned for the Celebration in
Nashville
. These are brand new, still in collector tin, with the official GM licensee (C21054) Hologram still intact.
That, is where my services come in. The numbers you will be bidding on are 1147 of 1953 AND 1147 of 2003 AND the Coin is Serial Number 1147!  The images depicted are from My previous auctions..  Rest assured, the items for auction are 1147!
I have also put together a "Corvette Limited Edition Cap Registry". This is an attempt to try to bring collectors together (if desired). All information will be kept confidential (no selling of names, lists, unsolicited e-mails, or SPAM).  Only information that will be released (if desired) is to the cap or coin owners "mates". This could lead to a cap/coin owner possibly striking up a friendship or purchasing the "other cap/coin"! I currently have in my database the whereabouts of about 2700 of the caps... only about 460 of the coins!  Who knows... I may have your Corvette cap mate or be able to hook you up with the correct owner! Let me know!
I have been able to, by begging, borrowing, and bidding, put together a substantial collection and am able to offer the these ultimate Corvette collectable matched sets.
Again, look closely....I cannot stress the fact enough that these numbers are matched sets!   These Beautiful Corvette hats and coins are some of the most
desirable
of the collectibles offered at the Corvette 50th Anniversary celebration in
Nashville
. If You didn't attend that "Gala Event", then You probably don't know that these caps and coins exist! This appears to be one of the "Best Kept Secrets" in the Corvette Collectible Realm! I have several matched sets in my collection that I will offer on eBay for bidding at a later time. By my records, I don't think anyone out there has been able to put any matched sets together. If there are any, I don't know about them! Remember...you are bidding on a matched set of both hats and Coin!  Summit Marketing is an official licensee of GM for the Corvette 50th Anniversary Store. WKRW Visual Arts is the official licensee of GM for the Limited Edition Numbered Coins for the Celebration.
Ships free to continental USA ONLY, or Shipping Internationally, to limited destinations, using the eBay Global Shipping Program!  Again, You have to have an actual United States lower 48 states "verified" address for free shipping!  The Global Shipping program does have an actual USA address. If You do not want to use the eBay Global Shipping Program, You must have Your eBay account registered in the USA with a verified USA address for a qualified USA shipping location!   Beware! There are some International locations that the Global Shipping Program CANNOT Ship to!!  Make sure that You check the excluded International locations before bidding!  If You are on the excluded list, DO NOT BID!!  If You are in one of the excluded locations, the eBay Global Shipping Program CANNOT ship Your items to You!  NEITHER CAN I!  I DO NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING!  I cannot see any of the Global Shipping Program invoicing to You, the Buyer!  That is handled By the Global Shipping Program rules.  The Global Shipping Program will calculate Your applicable (additional) fees, tariffs, etc. and shipping charges to Your International location.
Those fees and charges plus International shipping charges are YOUR responsibility, NOT MINE!!!  Please don't ask Me to remove the charges that Your Country has specified for eBay to collect!!  I do not have the ability to do that, nor will I discount the item to reflect that amount!
The Global Shipping Program cannot (I contacted eBay and this fact was verified) generate an Invoice for orders that contain multiple items!  I assume that their systems cannot correctly differentiate between items with multiple weights, quantities, parcel sizes, and contents!
It really saddens Me to have to keep saying this, but almost ALL International Buyers seem to want Me to do just that! It is a waste of MY time to deal with International Buyers who don't want to pay their Countries Lawful Taxes and Duties...
The eBay Global Shipping Program uses a USA shipping address
(again, I pay shipping charges to them), and is a re-shipper, that handles all of the required paperwork and shipping charges (You pay charges from them to Your address) for International buyers.
I have NO connections with the eBay Global Shipping Program, or International destinations taxes, tariffs, charges, fees, shipping, or any other pieces of the process...
Again, I don't do any International shipping. They have the required expertise to do that.
Soo.. If You ask Me to ship to an International address, change the
Taxes, Tariffs, Fees, etc. or attempt to break the Law, Your Order will simply be "CANCELLED"!!
NO EXCEPTIONS!
