EXCEPTIONAL REPOUSSE SILVER PLATED BOWL FLORAL MOTIFF

We are offering for your consideration an exceptional, silver plated repousse bowl that would be great to hold fruit, biscuits, etc. or elegantly alone to show in a china cabinet or on a buffet. This Victorian Era piece is unmarked but one can tell by the detail to design and the cut out work around the edges it was manufactured by a prestigious silver plating firm. A stylish looking piece that measures 2.25 inches high and 8 inches square at the edges. A striking basket of flowers and leaves with other flowers and leaves spilling onto a table has been applied in a repousse design in the center against a chased background. A highly detailed floral garland design framing smaller floral baskets has been embossed along the open work raised rim. Open work designs as you are aware are more expensive to manufacture than closed ones. The look is exceptional and breathtaking. The bowl is in
