Before Smart Box all other manufacturers hung their cut boxes on flimsy 3/8 or 1/2 sheet rock, or even worse lathe and plaster. Our Original Smart Boxes are unmatched in adjustability, as they are molded entirely of 1 piece with no moving parts to break or lose.

I love these boxes. So easy to install in an existing house. The plastic cable entries really grab the cable well. And the ease and accuracy of being able to just drive those screws home is awesome.

A lot better than those cheap blue ones they sell in the stores. These ones stay flush to the wall to give a nice mount for the wall plate. Also since they screw into the stud they are more rigid than the ordinary rehab junction box.
