    Hand made miniature chess set and table, Switzerland, 19th century. With white and red chess pieces, seven of the red pieces are missing. The Stanhope lens ( also known as an 'Optical Bijou' ) on the stem of the table shows four views of Mount Rigi, Switzerland, titled 'Souvenirs du Rigi'. Showing the mountain, Lake Lucerne and other views.
