Robert Talbott designed necktie created for a late 1980s or early 1990s Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance. In excellent condition. SEE ADDITIONAL PHOTOS BELOW.
Narrow blue diagonal stripes cross the red field, and a series of automotive mascots parades between them — Duesenberg, Packard, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes-Benz, Pierce-Arrow, and Hispano-Suiza. Tag on the back of the tie reads, “Designed Exclusively for Pebble Beach Company, Pebble Beach, California, Hand-sewn by Robert Talbott."
In excellent condition, with no signs of wear, but some light staining on the lining. This is only visible on the back of the tie and is easy to miss in passing (see second-last photo) and would not be obvious in normal wear.
From the collection of a long-time Concours judge. Tie measures 55” (141cm) in length, and 3" (8 cm) at its widest.
