BUYING:
What the faucet adapter will do: Attach a garden hose to an indoor faucet, to fill and drain your aquarium, waterbed or water the house plants. (see below how to measure).
What the faucet adapter will not do: Work under high pressure applications, portable dishwasher, high pressure hose
sprayer
to wash the car etc.
Consider
the
coarseness
of the threads on a garden hose and compare to the very fine threads on an indoor faucet. Almost every
complaint
we have received about these are from trying to use in a high pressure situation, or not fitting as non-standard faucet
(see below how to measure).

Adapter fits most faucets, to assure it will fit your faucet, remove the aerator from your faucet(s) and place a nickel on it (pictures 6 and 7). It will not fit 'junior' size faucets (the size of a dime)
Draining your waterbed with a Venturi Siphon Pump:
Unplug your heater before draining the bed.
If you have a waveless or baffled mattress, leave water mattress flat until completely drained or the wave control system will shift and become damaged .
Attach your hose with a hose adapter to the fill valve on the bed to create a air-tight connection. an airtight connection from the drain valve to the pump are needed to remove all the water possible.
Attach the other end of the hose to the Super Siphon Pump. Attach the super siphon pump to a water supply. Use the shortest hose possible to reach a nearby water supply and try to lift the water the least amount possible.
An adapter is available to attach the super siphon pump to an indoor sink. They usually consist of 2 pieces, both pieces are left together for a faucet with an inside thread (i.e. bathroom), or the small top unscrews to accommodate an outside threaded faucet. (i.e. kitchen sink.) If the small adapter piece gets stuck on the faucet, it is usually slotted so you can use a coin to unscrew it.
Once everything is hooked up, the venturi pump should have the bottom "bell" in the closed position. (If not, push up on the "bell" and turn counter-clockwise to lock closed.
Turn on the water to prime the hose, once this is accomplished, turn the 'bell" clockwise and pull it down to open the pump.
Leave the water running,
at full force if possible. (If your sink starts to overflow, you can reduce the water pressure).
Drain the mattress until the mattress becomes very flat. Beds will drain to within 15 pounds with good airtight connection.
Remove the drain hose, and replace the plug and the fill cap. If a waveless or baffled mattress, do this quickly to keep air out resulting in a "vacuum pack", to prevent the wave control system from shifting.
Fold the mattress before removing from the bed. If mattress is to be stored for an extended period, add a bottle of waterbed conditioner to the drained bed
